Trade Finance Readiness Review

Trade finance rewards speed and punishes documentation gaps. If your facility is holding up orders, the problem is usually not the lender. It is the package, the sizing, and the instrument fit.

We underwrite the trading flow, size the right instruments to your cash conversion cycle, and hand you a ranked lender list. As a core component of our trade finance advisory work, we build the package that banks and trade funds actually want to see. Where licensing applies, regulated partners execute under their own approvals. If your deal is asset-driven rather than trade-driven, see our structured debt readiness review instead.

What the review delivers

We size the facility, match the instrument to your cash cycle, and get the package lender-ready. You leave with a decision, not a deck.

Cash Conversion Cycle Analysis

A line by line view of your order to cash timeline, including the gap days the facility has to cover. You see exactly where working capital is trapped, how long it stays there, and how much room the facility needs.

Facility Sizing & Instrument Fit

A recommendation across letters of credit, receivables financing, purchase order finance, inventory, supply chain finance, and bank guarantees. We tell you which instruments fit your flow and which ones you should not waste time on.

Lender & Provider Shortlist

A ranked list of 8 to 15 banks, trade finance funds, factoring companies, and fintech providers matched to your goods, corridors, ticket size, and trading history. No generic blast list.

Lender-Ready Package Outline

The documents lenders ask for, in the order they ask for them: trading history, buyer and supplier evidence, insurance, shipping documentation, and financials. We tell you what is missing before a lender does.

Import Trade Finance

We size facilities against purchase orders, supplier terms, and the gap between payment and receipt of goods, so working capital stays free while inventory is on the water.

  • Instruments: letters of credit (MT700), documentary collections, purchase order finance, inventory finance, bank guarantees.
  • Underwritten: supplier terms, shipping timelines, customs and clearance, buyer concentration.
  • Typical use: import of goods with long lead times, seasonal inventory builds, supplier prepayment.

The Placement Execution

We start with your purchase orders, buyer and supplier evidence, trading history, and financials. We map the cash conversion cycle, size the facility against real order volume, and match the instrument to your flow. We then produce the lender-ready package and the ranked provider list, and manage the dialogue from first presentation to term sheet negotiation. You get a decision, not a deck.

Frequently asked questions

What is a trade finance readiness review?

A fixed-fee diagnostic that sizes your trade facility, matches the right instruments to your cash conversion cycle, and gets your documentation lender-ready before you approach providers.

What documents will lenders ask for?

Trading history, buyer and supplier evidence, purchase orders or contracts, shipping and insurance documentation, and two to three years of financials. We tell you exactly which ones you are missing.

Do you work with first-time traders?

Only where there is verifiable trading history or a strong buyer and supplier base. Facilities for new traders without evidence are rarely fundable and we will tell you so before you spend the fee.

What is the starting price?

The standard review starts at USD 2,500 for a single corridor or single instrument. Complex, multi-corridor, or structured commodity reviews start at USD 7,500. Rush delivery carries a 50% premium.

Are you a lender or a licensed broker?

Neither. Financely is an advisory firm. Where licensing applies, regulated partners execute under their own approvals.
