Financely / Paid Project Finance Advisory
Need financing for a project? Financely prepares the credit case, structures the funding request and manages lender outreach for companies and project sponsors.
Our project finance consultants work on the details that determine whether a financing proposal can proceed: repayment capacity, sponsor equity, construction risk, commercial contracts and security.
Submit Your TransactionFor business clients with a defined project and an advisory budget. Execution begins after the engagement agreement is signed and the required retainer is paid.
Your project needs a financing case lenders can assess
A feasibility study can show that a project is viable without explaining how its debt will be repaid. A lender also needs to understand when cash becomes available, what happens if construction runs late and who funds a cost overrun.
Financely brings those questions into the financing process before outreach. We review the available evidence, identify unresolved issues and prepare a funding request tied to the project's actual stage of development.
If you have already approached lenders, we can assess the feedback and determine what needs to change in the structure, documentation or target lender selection.
What our project finance consultants do
The engagement sets out the deliverables and responsibilities. Depending on your requirements, our project finance advisory services can cover:
Financing assessment and structuring
Review project costs, equity commitments, revenue assumptions and existing debt. Define the proposed facilities, funding sequence, repayment profile and sponsor support requirements.
Financial model and credit materials
Build or review the cash-flow model, test downside assumptions and prepare the financing memorandum. Organize the supporting documents so lenders can assess a consistent set of information.
Lender selection and outreach
Identify prospective capital providers by sector, jurisdiction, financing size and risk appetite. Manage introductions, information requests and follow-up under the agreed mandate.
Terms and closing coordination
Compare financing proposals, support negotiations and coordinate diligence with your legal, technical and other advisers. Track outstanding conditions through the closing process.
Financing support for new projects and operating assets
We assess mandates across energy, infrastructure and industrial development, including solar and battery storage, manufacturing facilities and other capital-intensive assets.
For a construction-stage project, the work centers on completion risk, the funding schedule and the transition into operations. For an operating asset, the focus shifts to demonstrated cash flow, existing financing terms and the purpose of the new facility.
A refinancing, expansion and greenfield development require different credit cases. We frame the financing request around the transaction you are executing.
Bring us the project as it stands
You do not need every document finalized to submit a transaction. You do need to distinguish what is secured, what is under negotiation and what remains unfunded.
- Project: location, sector, ownership, development stage and total cost.
- Funding: amount sought, use of proceeds, existing debt and committed sponsor equity.
- Readiness: land rights, permits, feasibility work, construction budget and schedule.
- Revenue: offtake agreements, customer contracts or the basis for projected sales.
- Sponsor: operating history, financial statements and relevant delivery experience.
Flag missing permits, unsigned contracts and equity shortfalls at submission. These issues shape the assignment and the financing options we can assess.
Why engage Financely?
Hire us when you need someone to take responsibility for the financing workstream: maintaining the lender materials, organizing responses, following up with prospective funders and keeping negotiations tied to the project's requirements.
We look beyond the headline interest rate. Drawdown conditions, amortization, reserve accounts, covenants, prepayment costs and sponsor obligations can all affect whether a proposal works for your project.
You retain commercial decision-making authority. We provide the analysis and execution support needed to evaluate the available terms.
How the engagement works
- Submit your transaction. Provide the financing requirement and the documents already available.
- Agree the mandate. We assess fit and, where appropriate, issue a proposal defining scope, fees and deliverables.
- Complete onboarding. Sign the engagement agreement, complete the required checks and pay the retainer.
- Prepare and execute. We complete the agreed preparation, proceed with suitable outreach and support the financing process.
Advisory fees reflect the work required. Any success fee and external specialist costs are addressed in the engagement terms.
Project finance consulting: common questions
Can you help if our project has no revenue yet?
A new project may be pre-revenue. We assess its development status alongside the sponsoring business, equity position, contracts and proposed repayment source. Submission does not imply acceptance of the mandate.
Can you arrange non-recourse financing?
We assess whether limited-recourse or non-recourse financing is suitable. The available structure depends on project risks and lender requirements. Construction guarantees, completion support or other sponsor obligations may still be required.
Can you work with our existing model and advisers?
Yes. We can review existing materials, identify gaps and coordinate with your appointed advisers. The proposal will distinguish work we undertake from specialist work commissioned separately.
Do you work on a success-fee-only basis?
No. Preparation and execution require a paid engagement. The retainer covers the agreed advisory work; any success fee is specified separately in the contract.
How long does securing project finance take?
Timing depends on project readiness, lender diligence, contract negotiations and outstanding approvals. We assess the schedule against those dependencies before agreeing the scope. Funding dates cannot be guaranteed.
Need project finance consultants for your transaction?
Send us the project location, total cost, financing amount, equity position and current status. We will assess whether Financely can take on the assignment and define the work required.
Submit Your TransactionYou must have a budget for paid advisory services. Financely is an adviser and arranger, not a lender. Financing remains subject to underwriting, diligence and definitive agreements. No funding outcome is guaranteed.
