Supply Chain Finance (also known as reverse factoring) is a buyer-led financing method. As a buyer, you partner with a financier to offer early payment on your approved invoices to your suppliers. Because the financier's risk is based on your strong credit rating, your suppliers gain access to low-cost funding that might otherwise be unavailable to them.
How the Program Works
Our process is simple and technology-driven, minimizing disruption to your existing procurement-to-pay process.
1. Invoice Submission
Your supplier delivers goods/services and sends an invoice to you as normal.
2. Invoice Approval
You verify and approve the invoice for payment and upload the details to the financing platform.
3. Early Payment Offer
The supplier is notified that the invoice is approved and is offered the option to receive early payment from the financier.
4. Supplier Gets Paid
If the supplier accepts, the financier pays them the invoice amount, less a small discount fee, often within 24-48 hours.
5. Buyer Settles
On the original invoice due date, you pay the financier the full invoice amount, having benefitted from extended payment terms.
