RWA and pre-advice FAQ
What is an RWA letter
A formal statement that the issuing bank is ready to issue an LC, SBLC, or guarantee on defined terms within a fixed window. It is not a payment undertaking.
Does readiness replace the LC, SBLC, or guarantee
No. The operative instrument closes the transaction. Readiness provides early comfort and alignment on timing.
How long is pre-advice valid
Validity is set in the message and aligned to the issue window. If timing changes, an updated message is sent.
Can the message be amended
Yes. Amendments are issued when terms or dates change before the operative instrument is sent.
Request a readiness message aligned to your issuance
Share the operative draft, beneficiary bank details, and the target issue window. We will respond with terms, a draft message, and a checklist to issue on time.
Request RWA or Pre-Advice
We act as an arranger on a best efforts basis through regulated partners. Eligibility depends on KYC and AML, sanctions screening, legal review, and issuer approval. Readiness letters and pre-advice are not payment undertakings and are followed by the operative instrument.
