What We Arrange
Issuance and Advising
MT700 wording aligned with your sale contract and Incoterms, issued through a bank your buyer can use. See our documentary LC service.
Confirmation
Open or silent LC confirmation
that removes issuing bank and country risk for the seller.
Why Clients Use Financely
Wording that clears the first time.
Most discrepancies come from credits that don't mirror the contract. We draft every field against your deal and give your team matching document templates.
Banks matched to the risk.
We select issuing, advising and confirming banks by country limits, rating and price, and present fee options before you commit.
Settlement mapped in advance.
Reimbursement routes, SWIFT messages and value dates are agreed upfront, so funds arrive when expected.
How It Works
- Intake.
You submit a request for quote, then we review the contract, Incoterms, shipping plan and insurance, and set the rules (UCP 600 or ISP98).
- Wording.
We draft each field, including tolerances, latest shipment date, presentation period and document list.
- Banks.
We line up the issuing, advising and, where needed, confirming bank, with fee options.
- Presentation.
We check documents before they go to the bank and fix discrepancies early.
- Settlement.
Funds move on the agreed path, and we track acceptance and maturity on usance credits.
Frequently Asked Questions
What drives LC fees?
The issuing bank's rating, country risk, tenor, currency, size and document complexity. Issuance and confirmation fees are quoted per year and charged for the actual tenor.
When should I add confirmation?
When the issuing bank or its country falls outside your risk tolerance, or when a financier will only purchase the receivable if it is confirmed.
Is a standby LC the same as a bank guarantee?
Both are payable on demand. A standby usually follows ISP98 and a demand guarantee usually follows URDG 758. The contract and the beneficiary determine which is required.
